making some things

We have been doing some fun crafts since the departure of our last resident artist. Here are a couple of them:

I began making recycled book covers months ago, and have finally collected enough damaged and recycled paper to begin binding pages! Hooray! The featured book is very tiny, only a touch larger than 2 x 3 inches.

I also haven’t done any potato stamping since I was a small child, and when Audrey mentioned she would be stamping her own giftwrap I couldn’t have been more excited to chop those taters!

In other stellar news, tph has acquired, with enormous thanks to my incredible and supportive family, a couple new tools – a bench-mounted drill press and a scroll saw. It’s beginning to look a lot like studio!
